Bob Head and RHC have performed construction work at the Adams Academy, a National Historic Landmark, on projects creating disability-accessible facilities and entrance ways and preserving and restoring the Academy lobby. Mr. Head and his personnel carried out these projects in a thoroughly professional manner, with great care that the work performed and the final results were appropriate to the historic nature of the building. They were always highly cooperative with Historical Society staff and sensitive to the operational needs of the Society.

I have worked with RHC over the last several years on different projects at Mass. College of Pharmacy in Boston. They have done all different types of work for us from metal studs and drywall to high end carpentry and the results are always excellent no matter if it’s small menial work or a large fast track project worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. As we all learned, it was very difficult trying to restore an 1863 Boston Brownstone back to it’s original glory; but you and your team were able to do it. Everyone who has come to see the property, since your renovation, is so impressed with your attention to detail. Your ability to replicate all the different moldings throughout the home is a tremendous testament to your craftsmanship. My historic Victorian lodging house has been painstakingly and beautifully restored, in keeping with all of its historic elements, by RHC. The RHC work performed over the last 3 years included complete interior, as well as, extensive exterior restoration. The exquisite and elaborate restoration woodworking by RHC precisely matched the original Victorian detail. Many of the detail pieces were built offsite at the RHC woodworking shop in Hanover. The RHC team was extremely thorough, professional, and always left the work area very clean and safe at the end of each day. All phases of this project were completed on schedule and within the agreed upon budget. I was very impressed by the quality of the workmanship and with the entire RHC operation throughout this multi-phased project. I have worked with many contractors, but RHC is my “go to team” because they care more, and you can always count on their superior performance. I highly recommend RHC.
