RHC was the general contractor chosen to perform a complete renovation of the new student laundry facility located in the basement of the "The Towers" student dormitory. The project began with the demolition of a pre-existing commercial kitchen. This was followed by an excavation of the concrete subfloor that then allowed for new underground plumbing and utilities to be installed. In addition to a complete HVAC system upgrade, the project included the installation of an extensive stainless steel exhaust system to vent dryer emissions. Within the laundry facility itself, RHC installed all functional lighting, card-swipe payment systems, flooring, and custom fabricated Corian™ solid surface counters.
